The Engine Inside is an internationally acclaimed and multi-award winning documentary film that charts how, for the past century, our society has grappled with the unintended consequences of a car-centric culture. In stunning cinematography it follows the lives of six individuals from diverse backgrounds who have devoted themselves to a simple, age-old machine – the bicycle.
The screening will be followed by a short panel discussion with representatives from the Department for Infrastructure's Active Travel Unit, Ards and North Down Borough Council, local politicians and Ards and North Down Cycle Campaign Group.
Tickets are available here.

Our Campaigns
We are advocating for DfI to be more ambitious in their plans for building new Active Travel infrastructure.
Coming to Bangor this year, A new world-class Cycle Park with a Learn-To-Ride area, a BMX Racing track, a pump track, an Inclusive-Cycling area, and a Cross-Country mountain bike trail.
Our plan for a safe, traffic-separated, cycle route that links up 6 schools and reduces school-time traffic and pollution.
